Pastor: David Gifford
David came to Calvary as Pastor in August of 2002. For the previous ten years, he served as a Pastor in central Kentucky and a Staff Pastor in Garland, Texas. Pastor David prepared for ministry at The Criswell College in Dallas, Texas and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He and his wife Amy have been married for 31 years, and they have three wonderful children: Emily, Hudson, and Kaylee. David is passionate about preaching and teaching the Word of God, as well as, making and equipping disciples to serve through the ministry of the local church.

ASSOCIATE PASTOR:
FRANKLIN WOOD
Franklin came to Calvary as Associate Pastor in August of 2023 after serving several local churches. He has had various lay leadership opportunities as well as serving as a Minister of Education and as a Pastor. Franklin received his B.S. from Western Kentucky University and his MDiv from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Amy and they have two adult sons. Franklin has a deep desire to connect people to Christ and for them to know Him better through the study of His Word.
Children's Leader:
Danielle Wilson
Danielle has been a member since October of 2004. She has served in many aspects of the church and is now serving as the Children's Ministry Leader. Danielle oversees all programs from infancy to 6th grade. She is a believer that children are the future of the church. Loving on children and sharing the love of Christ are also passions of hers. She likes to read, watch movies, and hang out with family and friends.
Student Minister:
Josh Minton
Josh joined Calvary in April 2021 as our Student Minister. After serving as a Youth Pastor at Smith Grove Baptist Church for two years, he is back home at Calvary, where he was previously a member. Josh graduated from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and is pursuing a master’s degree in Discipleship and Family Ministry from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Josh and his wife Hannah were married in August 2017 and welcomed their adorable son Asa in October 2020.
WORSHIP MINISTER:
KARLO PAVER
In September 2021, Karlo rejoined our staff as our Worship Minister. Previously he served on our staff as our Assistant Music Coordinator from August 2013 to April 2015 before moving to Iowa. Karlo graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Western Kentucky University with a master’s degree in Business Administration and Management. Karlo and his wife Holli were married in September 2018. They have three precious sons, Jeremiah, Ezra and Judah.
WORSHIP ASSOCIATE:
EMILY bRYANT
Emily has been a member since February of 2005. In September 2021, Emily became our Worship Associate. Since August 2019, she has served as one of our Mother’s Day Out teachers and previously served on our staff as Interim Worship. Emily has been a Worship Ministry Intern, Camp Chaperone, Counselor, and Children’s Director Assistant. She enjoys music, coffee, movies, and volleyball.
