David came to Calvary as Pastor in August of 2002.  The previous ten years he served as a pastor in central Kentucky and a staff pastor in Garland, TX.  Pastor David prepared for ministry at The Criswell College in Dallas, TX and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.  He and his wife Amy have been married 19 years, and they have three wonderful children Emily, Hudson, & Kaylee.  David is passionate about preaching & teaching the Word of God, as well as, making and equipping disciples to serve through the ministry of the local church.

Amy Gifford

Amy joined the staff as our part-time secretary in September of 2002.  Amy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Counseling from The Criswell College.  In addition to her office duties, Amy leads our Children’s Church ministry and serves as a co-director of our VBS team.  Amy has been married to our pastor David for 19 years, and they have three wonderful children Emily, Hudson, & Kaylee.
